My dog Zuri and I cycled 670 km through Switzerland. Switzerland is an excellent place for cycling. There are many well signposted cycle paths. The landscape in Switzerland is unbelievably beautiful and the most beautiful views are actually from cycle paths that are far away from roads. But see for yourself. Here are the best pictures from Switzerland.
The individual stages are also available as videos on YouTube:

6 Feb 2020hi Iris, I just found your blog and I love it.
I live in Switzerland, and I bought a Croozer dog trailer for my 14 years old Lab some weeks ago, and am looking for safe roads to ride. She can’t walk a lot anymore and I would like to have some good time outside with her, in nature.
Could you please give me the detailed map of your Bern to Meiringen trip (video 1) … ? that would be very nice, so thanks a lot.
And maybe would you have some other nice and safe roads to recommend ?
Thank you very very much,
have a nice day

11 Feb 2020Hey Valerie!
Do you know the website https://www.schweizmobil.ch/en/cycling-in-switzerland.html ?
Here are all cycling routes from Switzerland (including an interactive map). I used the Veloroute 9 Stage Spiez to Meiringen
: https://www.schweizmobil.ch/en/cycling-in-switzerland/routes/route/etappe-01003.html
The route is very well marked 🙂 There are normal roads in between cycling paths but if you have a trailer then this shouldn’t be a problem 🙂
